It is always exciting for us to see JMC grow as we continue to find ways to serve the next generation of church leaders! Thank you so much for contributing your time this year to investing in our students; we’re sure that your attention will benefit a student’s life.

Who would be the point person in charge of the internship for your department?

This is the main person we'll communicate with concerning important dates and goals for your student.

I have read and understand the "So you wanna start an internship..." document and understand the expectations of JMC Internships.

Is there anything outlined in this document that you may not be able to commit to?

About Your Internship

What would a typical week look like for your student?

Meeting times, weekend service commitments, etc. These must be planned around JMC Classes and Chapels.

What kinds of experiences / training will your intern(s) receive?

What is your mentorship plan?

This could be recurring meetings, intentional topical conversations, or doing a study together. We want this to be formative to their spiritual and emotional growth, not just their skills.

Is there any other vision you have for your internship?

If you have a Holy Spirit vision for how to pour into these students that is next-level, we'd love to support you in making it happen, as well as see if it could be applied to other departments too!

Should You Be Approved...

Where would your student work from?

Would you want them to have a desk in the corner of your office? Work from the JMC space? Or the church lobby?

What is the maximum number of interns you'd want in the next semester?

Write the description you'd want on the JMC Webpage for your internship.

Are there any requirements students must meet in order to be eligible for your internship?

For example, the worship team will only take students who have served on a worship team somewhere else, and other campuses will not receive freshmen.
