We are so glad that you have taken this opportunity to nominate your student for the Servant Leadership Scholarship! We know that they could not be the person they are without your leadership and mentorship!
Each and every season, there are JMC students who rise above the crowd to serve our church in excellence, and we want to show our appreciation with practical financial assistance. This Student Leadership Scholarship is awarded to four Journey Ministry College students each semester who went above and beyond in their unpaid internship.
Students must be nominated by their internship leaders (pastor, director, or admin), and will be judged on the criteria measured in SEU’s Supervisor Evaluation Forms each semester. In order to continue prioritizing excellence among our future leaders, students must maintain above a 3.0 GPA in order to remain eligible for this scholarship.
A $500 scholarship will be awarded each semester to four returning JMC students who have excelled in their internship in terms of learning and leading. Scholarships will be credited to the recipient’s tuition bill in the following semester. Submission deadline is scheduled for December 1, 2024.
To qualify for these scholarships, students must:
Be students at Journey Ministry College, at Journey Church in Kenosha, WI.
Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Practice excellent student leadership in the office and at church events on a weekly basis.
Be nominated by an internship leader whom they have worked closely with for the last semester.
One winner will be contacted via email by January 10, 2025 and will be judged by the above listed criteria.
